IMF: Serbia's economic growth rate to be 2.4 pct in 2025 and rise to 3.6 pct in 2026

WASHINGTON - From a 3.9 pct GDP growth rate in 2024, Serbia's economic growth will first decelerate to 2.4 pct in 2025 and then accelerate to 3.6 pct in 2026, according to the International Monetary Fund's latest World Economic Outlook, released on Tuesday.
The report also says that, from 4.7 pct in 2024, Serbian inflation would gradually decline to 4.6 pct in 2025 and 4 pct in 2026.
According to the report, the unemployment rate, which stood at 8.6 pct last year, will remain unchanged in 2025 and 2026.
