Macut: Biotech, AI are two pillars of future

BELGRADE - Serbia is investing extensively in development and biotechnologies and becoming a regional hub for development of those technologies, PM Djuro Macut said at the opening of the international conference AI_4_LIFE: Biotech Future Forum in Belgrade on Monday.

"We are proud of the BIO4 campus, which will, among other things, enable work on development of leading-edge medicines. Biotech and artificial intelligence are two pillars of the future that make it possible to answer questions from many areas, above all, medicine and biology," Macut said.

The conference is hosted by the Serbian government and the Centre for the 4th Industrial Revolution, in collaboration with the Office for IT and the eGovernment, the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, NALED, the World Economic Forum and the UNDP.
