Serbia's January-September external trade at 55.6 bln euros

BELGRADE - Serbia's external goods trade in January-September totalled 55.6 bln euros, which is an 8.5 pct increase y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office.

Goods exports were worth 24,639.7 mln euros, rising by 8.9 pct y-o-y, while imports totalled 31,028.5 mln euros, growing by 8.2 pct y-o-y.

The deficit was 6,388.8 mln euros, up by 5.6 pct y-o-y.

The export-import ratio was 79.4 pct, up from 78.9 pct in the same period of last year.

The Vojvodina region had the largest share of exports (32.7 pct) and the Belgrade region had the largest share of imports (44.9 pct).
