Slovakia becomes first country to sign formal contract for EXPO 2027 participation

BELGRADE - Slovakia on Thursday became the first country to sign a formal contract for participation in EXPO 2027 Belgrade.
At the EXPO Playground, located at the Belgrade Fair, the contract was signed by EXPO 2027 Commissioner and Serbian Minister of Internal and External Trade Jagoda Lazarevic, EXPO Belgrade 2027 Director Danilo Jerinic and Slovakia's EXPO 2027 Commissioner Lukas Parizek.
Before the signing of the contract, Lazarevic and a Slovak delegation toured the EXPO Playground.
The minister gave the delegation a presentation of scale models of the EXPO complex.
Under the theme of Play for Humanity – Sport and Music for All, the specialised EXPO 2027 Belgrade will be held from May 15 to August 15, 2027.
To date, 127 countries have confirmed their participation in the event.
