Serbian January average net monthly wage at 82,769 dinars

BELGRADE - The Serbian average net monthly wage in January was 82,769 dinars, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.

The average gross wage was 114,228 dinars.

Compared to 2022, average gross and net wages in January were up by 16.7 pct in nominal terms and by 0.8 pct in real terms.

Year-on-year, the January average gross wage was down by 0.9 pct in nominal terms and by 2.3 pct in real terms, while the average net wage was down by 1.7 pct in nominal terms and by 3.1 pct in real terms, the RZS said.

The median net wage in January was 62,964 dinars, meaning that 50 pct of the employed population received wages up to that amount.
