Galenika acquires Slovenia's Sanofarm

BELGRADE - The pharmaceuticals company Galenika has acquired a 100 pct stake in the Slovenian firm Sanofarm, Belgrade-based Galenika announced on Thursday.

In a statement, it said the acquisition further solidified its position in the Slovenian and Croatian markets and continued a strategic expansion of its operations in the EU.

Sanofarm is a distributor of dietary supplements and phytotherapeutic products that has a major presence in Slovenia and Croatia.
