Mesarovic, Shermatov discuss Serbia-Uzbekistan cooperation in industry, innovation

TASHKENT - Serbian Deputy PM and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic met on Thursday in Tashkent with Uzbek Minister of Digital Technology Sherzod Shermatov to discuss strengthening of bilateral cooperation in industry and innovation, digital transformation and the ICT sector.

The meeting confirmed a mutual interest in development of the IT industry, exports of digital services and bolstering of startup ecosystems, as well as in institutional cooperation and experience-sharing in the fields of public administration and digitalisation, Mesarovic posted on Instagram.

"Thanks to the vision and the policy of President Aleksandar Vucic and to the Government of Serbia, the PM and the Serbian Progressive Party, led by Milos Vucevic, Serbia is recognised as a leader in digitalisation and a dependable partner in development of modern technology solutions," Mesarovic posted.
