Macut visits Hemofarm in Vrsac to discuss company's plans

VRSAC - Serbian PM Djuro Macut visited Vrsac-based pharmaceuticals firm Hemofarm on Wednesday and met with company executives, headed by CEO Ronald Seeliger, to discuss the Hemofarm Group's operations and future plans.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Internal and External Trade Jagoda Lazarevic, Minister for Environmental Protection Sara Pavkov and Ministry of Economy officials.
After the meeting, Macut and government officials toured an injectable products production plant and a high-rack warehouse.
Hemofarm is the leader in Serbia's pharmaceuticals market and the country's largest medicine exporter, accounting for over 80 pct of its pharmaceuticals exports.
Its main headquarters and central production complex are located in Vrsac.
It has production plants in Dubovac and Sabac and offices in Belgrade, Nis, Novi Sad and Kragujevac.
It also has production facilities in Banja Luka and Podgorica.
