BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov in Belgrade on Friday to discuss bilateral cooperation and key strategic issues for energy stability and economic stability in Serbia.
"With Minister Reshetnikov (I spoke) about bilateral cooperation in various fields, as well as key issues of strategic importance for the energy stability and economic stability of the Republic of Serbia, current global trends and their implications for the region, focusing on energy security, market stability and sustainability of the existing economic order," Vucic posted on Instagram.
In the context of fresh Middle East conflicts, which have led to enormous disruptions in the global energy market, Vucic noted that Serbia, too, faced increased risks when it comes to ensuring continuous and reliable supplies.
"That requires precisely defined arrangements that are sustainable over the long term," Vucic posted.
