Contract on Italy's participation in EXPO 2027 signed in Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbia's EXPO 2027 Commissioner Jagoda Lazarevic, who is also minister of internal and external trade, EXPO 2027 Director Danilo Jerinic and Italy's EXPO 2027 Commissioner Luca Gori signed on Monday in Belgrade a contract on Italy's participation in the specialised expo.

The contract, inked at the EXPO Playground, will enable the implementation of further operational steps towards Italy's involvement as an official participant.

EXPO 2027 Belgrade will be held from May 15 through August 15 2027 under the theme of Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.

To date, more than 130 countries have confirmed their participation in the event.
