Djedovic Handanovic, UK ambassador discuss cooperation in energy sector

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic met with UK Ambassador to Belgrade Edward Ferguson on Wednesday to discuss advancement of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector and opportunities for getting UK-based financial institutions involved in implementation of strategic energy projects in Serbia.

Djedovic Handanovic noted that Serbia had launched an investment cycle in the energy sector until 2035 that was worth a total 14.4 bln euros.

"With a clear goal - the goal of ensuring long-term energy security, stable supply and sufficient energy for future development of the economy, application of artificial intelligence and continued energy transition," the minister posted on Instagram.
