BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Environmental Protection Sara Pavkov met on Wednesday with representatives of China's Minth Group, which will be manufacturing humanoid robots in Serbia.
"Humanoid robots made in Serbia. A pleasant meeting and a constructive discussion with our Chinese friends from Minth Group, which is planning new major investments in Serbia," Pavkov posted on Instagram.
The manufacture of humanoid robots will position Serbia as a leader and the first European country to produce such robots, she noted.
She added that she was especially glad that Serbian-made robots would be a part of the international EXPO 2027 platform, where they would make an active contribution to maintenance, cleaning and work in the services sector, including at cafeterias.
"Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's recent visit to China has further solidified the traditionally good friendly relations between our two countries, opening up space for new investments in Serbia as a country of the new, contemporary industrial era," Pavkov concluded.
