Samoa confirms its EXPO 2027 participation

BELGRADE - The Independent State of Samoa has confirmed its participation in Specialised EXPO 2027 Belgrade, the EXPO 2027 enterprise announced on Thursday.

Samoa is the 139th country to have confirmed its participation in the event.

As one of the most authentic Pacific states, under the theme of Rhythms of Samoa: Connecting Through Sport, Trade and Culture, Samoa will bring a unique blend of Polynesian culture, natural beauty, sport and a tradition of togetherness known as "Fa’a Samoa" - the Samoan way of life, the enterprise said in a statement.

"To EXPO 2027 Belgrade, Samoa brings a strong story of togetherness, culture and connecting people through sport, music and tradition. Its participation shows how a small island state can be globally recognised for its cultural authenticity, sports success and sustainable development," EXPO 2027 CEO Danilo Jerinic said.
