Vucic meets with Norwegian ambassador, representatives of energy companies

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met on Monday with Norway's Ambassador to Belgrade Jorn Gjelstad and representatives of Norwegian companies from the renewables sector to discuss investments in green energy projects.

"Energy is the core and the pulse of the progress of every healthy economy and, today, there is no modern and strong state that is not turning to renewable sources as the backbone of all aspects of modern society that has future generations in mind - from environmental protection to greater efficiency in numerous segments of industrial and economic activities," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile.

He noted that the meeting had also addressed investments in green energy projects that would lend an additional healthy impetus and a strong economic boost to Serbia.
