More than 4 million tourists visited Serbia in 2025

BELGRADE - A total 4,346,691 foreign tourists, the majority of whom were Turkish citizens, visited Serbia in 2025, staying in the country for an average 2.8 days, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.

The visitors generated a total 12,282,212 overnight stays, mostly in Belgrade (52.2 pct), Novi Sad (7.9 pct) and Nis (4.8 pct).

Mt Zlatibor attracted the highest percentage of visitors (45 pct) of all Serbian mountain tourism hubs, and was followed by Mt Kopaonik (20.4 pct) and Mt Fruska Gora (8 pct).

Among spa resorts, Vrnjacka banja (28 pct), Sokobanja (19 pct) and Vrdnik (9.7 pct) stood out as the most popular tourist destinations.

Turkish tourists generated the highest number of overnight stays (10.2 pct) and were followed by visitors from Russia (8.9 pct), China (7.8 pct), Bosnia and Herzegovina (6 pct) and North Macedonia (4.9 pct).
