City of Belgrade, Air Serbia to host Wings of Change Europe 2027 conference

BELGRADE - The City of Belgrade and Air Serbia will host the Wings of Change Europe 2027 conference, one of the most significant events in the European aviation industry, which will take place October 26 and 27, 2027, organised by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Air Serbia has announced.

"At the closing of the Wings of Change Europe 2026 conference in Brussels today, it was officially announced that the next edition of the event would be held in Belgrade. Air Serbia CEO Jirí Marek also attended the conference and, following the announcement, introduced Belgrade and Air Serbia to participants as the hosts of Wings of Change Europe 2027.

Wings of Change brings together leading representatives of airlines, airports, regulatory authorities, manufacturers, service providers, and other key aviation stakeholders to exchange experiences and discuss the main challenges and opportunities shaping the development of Europe's aviation industry," it said in a statement.

"We are honoured that IATA has recognised Air Serbia and Belgrade as the hosts of Wings of Change Europe 2027. This event offers a unique opportunity to welcome the most influential decision-makers in the aviation industry and present Serbia as an attractive destination, an important regional hub, and a market with significant potential for further development of air transport. We look forward to working with IATA and all our partners to organise a successful conference in Belgrade,” said Air Serbia CEO Jiri Marek.

The value of aviation for Serbia and the Balkans is key, and connectivity must be further enhanced to ensure greater competitiveness. 2027 will mark Air Serbia’s 100th anniversary, and we intend this upcoming Wings of Change 8th edition to celebrate and actively contribute to the airline’s history and successes,” IATA Regional Vice President Europe Rafael Schvartzman said.
