Serbian industrial turnover down by 7.1 pct y-o-y in May

BELGRADE - Serbia's May 2023 industrial turnover was down by 7.1 pct relative to the same month of last year, the national statistical office has said.

Relative to the 2022 average, it was down by 2.7 pct.

By sectors, the mining sector registered a 1.1 pct turnover decline y-o-y, while the manufacturing industry turnover fell by 7.3 pct.

The industrial turnover was down by 15.6 pct y-o-y in the Serbian market and up by 4.3 pct y-o-y in the international market.
