Serbian September industrial production up by 3 pct y-o-y

BELGRADE - Serbian industrial production in September 2023 was up by 3.0 pct y-o-y and by 3.1 pct relative to the 2022 average, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.

Between January and September 2023, industrial production grew by 2.4 y-o-y.

According to seasonally-adjusted data, overall industrial production was down by 1.1 pct compared to August 2023, while manufacturing was up by 1 pct.

In September 2023, electricity and natural gas supplies were up by 3.9 pct y-o-y, the manufacturing sector was up by 3 pct y-o-y and the mining sector rose by 1.1 pct y-o-y.
