Orlic meets with delegation of Sino-Serbian association

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Vladimir Orlic met on Friday with a delegation of a Serbia-China association for promotion of the economy, trade, culture and tourism, noting that the two countries were connected by a strategic partnership and an iron-clad friendship forged, above all, thanks to Presidents Aleksandar Vucic and Xi Jinping.

Orlic said the association had been established recently, in line with a FTA between Serbia and China, and added that he was confident cooperation within the association would make a major contribution to joint work in the areas it dealt with.

Orlic and the delegation members said they were satisfied with economic and trade cooperation to date, especially when it comes to investments and numerous important infrastructure projects being carried out jointly by the two countries.

They expressed a commitment to further advance the joint work in culture and tourism and noted that the association's future activities would contribute to it.
