NIS - The Serbian government will invest 25 mln euros in the second stage of works at the Nis Science and Technology Park and the project needs to be completed by October 2025, PM Ana Brnabic said at a cornerstone-laying ceremony that marked the start of the second stage of works.
"This is an important project for the future of Serbia. We are dreaming big dreams we have outlined in the Leap Into the Future - Serbia 2027 plan," Brnabic said.
Investing in young people, education in infrastructure pays of hundredfold, Brnabic said.
The science and technology park's director Milan Randjelovic said the project would raise the capacity of the existing complex to over 30,000 sq m of space available to companies, laboratories and innovators developing new products and services in Nis.
