Mali: Serbia to invest 17.8 bln euros in 323 projects by 2027

BELGRADE - By 2027, Serbia will invest 17.8 bln euros in 323 projects across the country, Finance Minister Sinisa Mali announced on Wednesday.

In an Instagram post, Mali wrote that, contrary to opposition claims, the investments would reach all parts of Serbia and go to infrastructure, energy, science and education projects.

"All those projects are due to be finished by 2027, when we will be hosting the specialised Belgrade EXPO 2027. We wanted to use the event as an occasion to change the face of our country even more and improve the citizens' quality of life, and to let every citizen of Serbia feel a change that is for the better," Mali noted.
