Vucic lays cornerstone for new PWO Group plant in Cacak

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday laid the cornerstone for a PWO Group factory in Cacak, central Serbia, alongside PWO Group Serbia CEO Carlo Lazzarini and German Ambassador to Belgrade Anke Konrad.

The cornerstone-laying ceremony was also attended by Serbian Minister of Internal and External Trade Tomislav Momirovic, Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic and Cacak Mayor Milun Todorovic.

The 100,000 sq m plant will start series production in late 2025.

Vucic said he expected even greater cooperation with German companies in the future and announced that the Cacak plant would hire 800 people in the coming years.
