Vucic, South Korean president discuss economic cooperation

DAVOS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with South Korean counterpart Yoon Suk-yeol on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos to discuss boosting economic cooperation and political dialogue between the two countries.

"An open and friendly conversation with President Yoon Suk-yeol during the WEF about stepping up the political dialogue and economic cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Korea. It was important to me to note on this occasion, too, the significance of Korean investments for our country and to call on other Korean companies to also invest in Serbia," Vucic said in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account on Wednesday.

He noted that the two countries shared many common interests.

"I look forward to the projects that are ahead of us, all with the aim of permanent prosperity of our peoples," Vucic added, noting that he would be honoured to welcome the South Korean president in Serbia.
