Vucevic meets with North Macedonia's Petrovska

SKOPJE- Serbia is committed to develop friendly relations with North Macedonia and countries in the region in line with mutual interests at regional and global level, Serbian Defence Minister Milos Vucevic said during a conversation with North Macedonian counterpart Slavjanka Petrovska in Skopje on Friday.

The conversation took place as part of a Serbian Defence Ministry delegation's visit to North Macedonia.

Vucevic said countries in the region were interconnected and that their common interests naturally lead them to mutual cooperation.

He also expressed a readiness for improvement of bilateral military cooperation with North Macedonia and noted that the will and the capacities were there to do so in the period to come.

Petrovska agreed there was space for advancement of bilateral military ties in the period to come, the Serbian Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
