TIVAT - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday in Tivat, Montenegro, that Serbian-made ammunition was likely to be found everywhere in the world where wars were going on but that Serbia always exported it to licenced end-users only and that there were no Serbian-made arms on the battlefields.
"We do not export anything to Russia or Ukraine. There is Serbian ammunition on the Russian side, just like on the Ukrainian side, I assume. There is everywhere where wars are going on - in Sudan, Syria, Israel. We are a country that still produces a lot of ammunition, but we always export to so-called licenced end-users," Vucic said in response to claims by a reporter who had said he had seen photos of Serbian-made Crvena zastava weapons from the Ukrainian front.
Vucic noted that Serbia exported ammunition to licenced end-users but that he did not know whether those countries sold the ammunition on, and noted that there were no Serbian-made arms to be found on battlefields around the world.
