BELGRADE - Belgrade Mayor Aleksandar Sapic said on Wednesday time would tell how the relationship within Serbia's ruling coalition between the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) would affect local authorities, and added that the two parties had maintained good communication at the level of Belgrade city authorities.
Sapic said this in response to a reporter's question whether the SPS could remain a part of the city authorities in case it did not stay in the Serbian government.
"Time will tell whether new elections or some new 'repackaging' at national level will affect the coalition in local self-government authorities," Sapic said.
