Gasic meets with Indonesian ambassador to Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic met with outgoing Indonesian Ambassador to Belgrade Mochammad Chandra Widya Yudha on Friday and thanked him for Jakarta's principled support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia regarding the Kosovo-Metohija issue.

The parties agreed there was room for further advancement of bilateral cooperation, with emphasis on strengthening scientific and technical and military economic cooperation, an official statement said.

Gasic thanked the ambassador for his engagement and noted that Serbia-Indonesia relations were good and without outstanding issues, with a tendency towards further advancement, and added that the cooperation between the two countries was characterised by traditional friendship and solidarity.
