BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament on Wednesday took note of PM Milos Vucevic's resignation.
The move marks the start of a 30-day time frame to elect a new government.
In case a government is not elected during that period, Serbia will go to parliamentary elections.
Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic thanked Vucevic for his honourable and honest service as PM, as well as for his responsible and courageous conduct.
Vucevic tendered an irrevocable resignation on January 28, after an attack on student protesters in Novi Sad.
His government was elected at a parliament session held on May 2, 2024.
