BRUSSELS - NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte has said he had met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Brussels on Wednesday to discuss the critical importance of upholding regional security and ways to continue to bolster NATO-Serbia relations.
"Good follow-up meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Brussels after our call two weeks ago," Rutte wrote in a post on X.
"We discussed the critical importance of upholding regional security as well as how to continue to bolster NATO-Serbia relations," he added.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting with Rutte, Vucic said they had discussed all important issues, cooperation, the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and relations between the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR, as well as the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"It was a successful day in Brussels for Serbia," Vucic noted.
