BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday that, following an investigation, Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) had made a categorical conclusion that long-range acoustic devices (LRADs) in possession of the Serbian police had not been used during a March 15 protest in central Belgrade.
In a public address from the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade, Vucic said an official FSB report had arrived on Tuesday and had been published on the website of Serbia's Security and Information Agency immediately before his address.
He added that, alongside the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the FSB was one of the most powerful and most famous security agencies.
Vucic said the FSB probe had proceeded in three directions and that the agency had even used living beings - dogs - to prove its conclusions.
In the evening hours of March 15, a final attempt was made to carry out a coloured revolution in Serbia and everything was prepared for a seizure of power by violent means, Vucic also said, adding that a lie about alleged use of a sound cannon had been prepared on the same day.
