BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday evening there was countless evidence that a coloured revolution was going on in Serbia, but declined to comment on potential involvement by a British intelligence service.
"I would not like to talk about that, we have complex and important relations with the British intelligence agency - that is the relationship our intelligence agency has with the British agency, and we are trying to resolve misunderstandings," Vucic said in an appearance on Informer TV.
Speaking about the authorities' response to blockades and protests, Vucic said Serbia had demonstrated how a country could confront a coloured revolution without "raising a single baton."
"They (the protests) pose quite a threat to us economically, but we have given a lesson in democracy to entire Europe and the world. We have demonstrated how a serious country can confront a coloured revolution without raising a single baton. Will that have to happen? I suppose that, at some point, they (the protesters) will go for further radicalisation as they see that none of this is working for them," Vucic said.
