Government appoints Dragan Vasiljevic as director of Serbian police

BELGRADE - The Government of the Republic of Serbia appointed police general Dragan Vasiljevic as director of the Serbian police on Wednesday, an official statement said.

Vasiljevic, 53, previously served as acting police director.

He was appointed to the position by the government on February 27.
