Vucic receives UK's ambassador to Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with the UK's Ambassador to Belgrade Edward Ferguson on Wednesday, and noted that Serbia remained committed to strengthening its relations with the UK in all areas of common interest.

"A good meeting with Ambassador Ferguson. We discussed key matters for our bilateral cooperation, as well as potentials for work on joint projects and initiatives. We also exchanged views on current political issues and the situation in Serbia and the region, as well as on other topics of mutual importance," Vucic wrote in an Instagram post.

He added that he was convinced that exchanging high- and top-level visits would strengthen further the ties between the two countries and pave the way for concrete results and advancement of cooperation in the future.
