BELGRADE - Serbian Justice Minister Nenad Vujic met with US Charge d'Affaires in Serbia Alexander Titolo on Friday to discuss US-Serbia bilateral cooperation and his ministry's plans for the coming period.
Vujic informed Titolo of planned normative activities of the Ministry of Justice, highlighting the importance of advancement of the legal framework, both in the interest of the citizens of Serbia and for the sake of the international obligations of the Republic of Serbia, defined primarily in Chapter 23 and the Reform Agenda accompanying the EU Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, read a post on Vujic's Instagram account.
"The US is a years-long, significant partner of the Ministry of Justice in carrying out very important reform processes, especially in the field of criminal law, and I believe we will continue to cooperate closely in the future to advance our relations further through an exchange of knowledge and experience," Vujic said.
Vujic and Titolo said they were pleased with successful development of bilateral cooperation and expressed the expectation the successful cooperation would be continued in the future.
