BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic met with the state secretary at the Swedish Ministry of Justice Mikael Kullberg in Belgrade on Wednesday.
The parties exchanged experiences in the fight against all forms of crime, especially in the field of narcotics trade, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
Dacic and Kullberg said they were pleased with the cooperation established between Serbian and Swedish police in the past years.
They discussed modalities of curbing cross-border organised crime and concluded that both countries faced similar challenges in that field.
They also confirmed a continuation of project-based cooperation through training and education for Serbian Interior Ministry staff in Sweden.
Dacic also extended an invitation to his Swedish counterpart to visit Serbia.
