BELGRADE - Commenting on an upcoming visit to Belgrade by EU foreign policy and security chief Kaja Kallas, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday he was certain Kallas would raise the issue of his recent visit to Moscow again and insist on it, but that he would not shun it or try to hide from it.
"She was the only one who publicly condemned my trip to Moscow in Tirana (at a European Political Community summit). I had an open discussion with her. I explained Serbia's position in a sincere, clear and unambiguous manner," Vucic told Pink TV.
"I am certain she will raise that issue again and insist on it. I will not hide under the table, to be entirely honest, or shun it," he said.
He added that there was also another agenda that related to blockaders and the opposition.
"I think it is extremely important that we deliver on what we have promised regarding three media laws, the Regulatory Authority on Electronic Media and electoral conditions - ODIHR recommendations and amendments to the electoral law. That is what we have promised and what we need to deliver on," Vucic also said.
Asked what Serbia could expect from Kallas's visit when it comes to Kosovo-Metohija, Vucic said he did not believe Kosovo-Metohija was a particular topic for the discussions with Kallas, except for the dialogue with Pristina, which he noted was "non-existent thanks to Albin Kurti."
