BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday evening a colour revolution narrative in Serbia was over and had come to nothing, and that, slowly but surely, people were returning to their own affairs.
Nothing can stop Serbia anymore, Vucic noted in an appearance on the RTS.
"Everywhere, I can feel that the colour revolution narrative is completely over - there will be more nervousness, more attempts of radicalisation, attempts of violence, but it has come to nothing. It is all over and, slowly but surely, people are returning to their own affairs, which is good and important, and no one will be able to stop Serbia anymore," he said.
He announced that all planned works for EXPO 2027 would be completed on time.
Vucic also announced a high-speed rail line section from Belgrade to Subotica would be opened in mid-July and that, starting from late December, people would be able to take high-speed trains to Budapest and get there in two hours and 40 minutes.
