SNS list wins most votes in Kosjeric local elections - commission

BELGRADE - Based on 100 pct of votes counted, a Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) electoral list won the most votes in Sunday's local elections in Kosjeric, western Serbia, the national electoral commission said on Monday.

According to electoral results published on the commission's website, the We Are Not Giving Serbia Away - Aleksandar Vucic list won 49.23 pct of votes, or 14 seats in the 27-seat local assembly.

The United for Kosjeric list follows with 48.54 pct, or 13 seats won.

The Russian Party - Serbia in BRICS, Slobodan Nikolic list won 0.64 pct of votes.

According to figures released by the local electoral commission, the voter turnout in Kosjeric was 84.17 pct.
