Kozarev, UK ambassador discuss bilateral relations

BELGRADE - Secretary General at the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dusan Kozarev met with the UK's Ambassador to Belgrade Edward Ferguson on Friday.

Looking back on a recent substantial discussion between Serbian FM Marko Djuric and the UK's special Western Balkans envoy Karen Pierce in Dayton, US, Kozarev and Ferguson confirmed the good bilateral relations between their countries and exchanged views on opportunities to advance them.

They devoted special attention to cooperation between the Serbian MFA and the UK's Foreign Office, chiefly in education for young diplomats and experience-sharing through courses and curricula for diplomatic academies.

Kozarev and Ferguson reviewed current geopolitical topics as well as plans for upcoming activities, the MFA said in a statement.
