Serbian gov't watching developments in Israel, Iran closely

BELGRADE - The Government of the Republic of Serbia announced on Tuesday it was watching developments closely and taking all necessary measures to ensure security to Serbian citizens who were currently in Israel and Iran.

PM Djuro Macut, who maintains constant communication with FM Marko Djuric, said a part of Serbian citizens who had been residing in Israel had been evacuated successfully, the government said in a statement.

The Government of the Republic of Serbia continues to carry out further measures to safely evacuate Serbian citizens who remain in affected areas, the statement added.
