Dacic receives farewell visit from EU ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic received a farewell visit from the ambassador of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Emanuele Giaufret, on Thursday.

Dacic thanked Giaufret for the excellent years-long cooperation and contribution to advancement of Serbia-EU relations, and wished him success in his diplomatic career in the future.

They discussed cooperation in the EU accession process to date and exchanged views on cooperation in the field of Chapter 24 in the EU accession talks.

Dacic noted that key measures in the fight against organised crime, migration and human trafficking had been carried out.

He expressed the confidence the successful cooperation between the EU Delegation and the Interior Ministry would be continued in the future, in line with European values and shared goals.
