BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday Serbian ammunition exports had been completely stopped and that all ammunition was going solely to Serbian army barracks and military stocks.
"What we were exporting after October 7, after the terrorist attack, is one thing, and today (after the outbreak of the Israel-Iran conflict) is another," Vucic told reporters.
"We have now literally stopped everything and we are supplying our army," he added, responding to an N1 query about ammunition trade with Israel and Serbia's neutrality in the Israel-Iran conflict.
"So, we are not exporting anything now, we have now stopped everything," Vucic said, noting that he would explain the situation to the presidents of Iran and Israel, Masoud Pezeshkian and Isaac Herzog.
"I will explain everything to President Pezeshkian, I have also spoken with him in the Iranian building in New York after the exports, and I will speak with him again in two to three days. I am also in contact with Herzog. I am looking after the security of this country, but I am also looking after (defence industry) workers," Vucic said.
