Stankovic, Russian ambassador discuss cooperation in education

BELGRADE - Serbian Education Minister Dejan Vuk Stankovic met with Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko on Wednesday to discuss bilateral cooperation in education.

The parties expressed readiness to deepen the cooperation, the Ministry of Education said in a statement.

Stankovic said the cooperation was taking place at all levels of education and that it was important to expand and advance it further.

Stankovic and Botsan-Kharchenko also discussed current topics and their countries' experiences during crises in their respective education systems.

Stankovic said his bilateral meetings with Russian counterpart Sergey Kravtsov and other representatives of the Russian education system at a recent Education Forum in Kazan would help deepen the bilateral cooperation.
