ROME - Serbian FM Marko Djuric said on Thursday in Rome he had told US President Donald Trump's special envoy Keith Kellogg Serbia was ready to host "public, private, informal or whatever" discussions that could help to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
"I also conveyed to Mr Kellogg the Serbs' sentiments and sympathy for Trump's efforts to stabilise the situation and overcome differences between big powers," Djuric told reporters in the Italian capital, where he is attending a conference on reconstruction of Ukraine.
He added that Kellogg had promised to convey that to Trump himself.
Djuric noted that he had also spoken with officials of countries in the region and greeted some of the top European leaders.
"We have made an effort for Serbia's presence here to be visible, dignified and in line with our values: peace, the UN Charter and support for those who are in need of help," he said.
