Vucic, Dodik discuss commemoration of August 1995 expulsion of Serbs from Croatia

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik in Belgrade on Friday to discuss, among other topics, a joint commemoration of 30 years since the August 1995 expulsion of Serbs from Croatia.

"Happy to have hosted Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik. We discussed all matters of significance for the Serbian nation as a whole. We confirmed our participation in and joint hosting of a gathering at which we will commemorate 30 years since the plight and expulsion of Serbs in the criminal operation 'Storm,'" Vucic wrote in an Instagram post.

He added that Serbia and Srpska would also continue to cooperate in all other spheres of social life.

"We agreed to expedite works on all joint infrastructure projects, and President Dodik said he was especially pleased that Serbia is finishing the motorway section between Kuzmin and Sremska Raca at an accelerated pace," Vucic posted.
