Dacic: Ten arrested for attacking police in Novi Pazar

BELGRADE - Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said on Wednesday ten people had been arrested for involvement in Tuesday's incidents outside the Novi Pazar State University building and that all people who had attacked the police would be prosecuted regardless of their ethnicity.

In an appearance on Pink TV, Dacic said that, according to information from the local police directorate, more people who had been involved in the incidents had been identified and that some of them were in hiding.

"If you are so nice and honourable, then why are you hiding?" Dacic said.

"Those who are not guilty have no reason to be afraid that they will be prosecuted," he added.
