BELGRADE - Serbian Progressive Party leader Milos Vucevic, who is also adviser to the president of Serbia, said on Friday President Aleksandar Vucic's visit to Beijing and meetings with many world officials were of great importance for Serbia.
"I am proud Serbia was among the states invited to Beijing for commemorations of 80 years since the victory over fascism and one of the largest military parades in history. It was really impressive," Vucevic told Pink TV.
He noted that he was proud Vucic had also met with the presidents of China, Russia and Azerbaijan.
He noted that Vucic had also held meetings with Chinese companies that were interested in investing in Serbia or were already investing in the country.
"Those are important things for us - the issue of (Russian natural) gas, regular supplies, a good price. That directly impacts household budgets and factories in Serbia," Vucevic said.
