Djuric extends condolences to Charlie Kirk's family, people of US

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric has extended condolences to the family of slain US conservative political commentator Charlie Kirk and the people of the US.

"Deeply saddened by the killing of Charlie Kirk. Our condolences to his family and the American people. Serbia stands firmly against political violence and with our US friends. He will be remembered in Serbia as a friend of the Serbian people and of our region," Djuric posted on X.

Kirk, a conservative activist and Turning Point USA co-founder, succumbed to wounds on Wednesday evening after being shot during a speech to students at the Utah Valley University.
