Vucic: Serbia, China to continue together for peace, development, better life of citizens

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic attended on Monday a reception that marked 76 years since the establishment of the People's Republic of China and 70 years of the friendship between the peoples of China and Serbia, and noted that he was proud of the trust and close ties between the two countries.

"With joy, this evening we marked 76 years since the establishment of PR China and 70 years of the friendship between our peoples. Thank you to Ambassador Li Ming for the sincere friendship and warm hospitality. I am proud of the trust we are building through concrete projects and close ties between people, and confident Serbia and China will continue together, for peace, development and better life of our citizens," Vucic wrote in an Instagram post.

The reception, which marked October 1, China's National Day, was hosted by the Chinese embassy at Belgrade's Hyatt Regency hotel on Monday evening.
