BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met on Thursday with the speaker of Turkey's Grand National Assembly, Mustafa Sentop, whom he told Serbia saw a major partner in Turkey when it comes to maintaining peace and stability in the Western Balkans and implementation of capital projects.
In a post on the buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account, Vucic wrote that he was pleased to have met with his dear guest again, and added that he had also taken the opportunity to send his regards to his friend, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"We discussed the dynamics of Serbian-Turkish bilateral and economic relations, energy security, investments as well as the situation in the region," Vucic wrote in the post, which also included a photo from the meeting.
He added that he had noted that Serbia saw a major partner in Turkey when it comes to maintaining peace and stability in the Western Balkans as well as implementation of capital infrastructure and energy projects contributing to greater security of all citizens of Serbia and other countries in the region.
